CUSD students particpate in Centennial Quilt

Students from Susan Vasallo’s 2010-2011 sixth grade art class at Mountain Vista Elementary will be represented this year during the Centennial Celebration.
Vasallo was one of the women who worked on the State of Arizona’s Centennial Quilt.
Her students were so inspired that she worked with them to create a miniature quilt that will also be part of the Centennial Quilt project and tour the state of Arizona this year.
We are honored to be a part of this historic celebration. Thank you to Mrs. Vasallo for all the hard work and dedication to Mountain Vista Middle School.
