Peoria and SRP are starting the state’s birthday party early with a day full of activities for the entire family at the Arizona on the Move event, Saturday, Oct. 22 from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. at the Peoria Sports Complex. The day will celebrate the evolution of transportation, starting with a 5K run and motorcycle ride up to Prescott in the morning, followed by stage coach and wagon rides until 2 p.m. The party continues into the evening with a free concert and beer festival to benefit Peoria Diamond Club.
