The students of Los Ranchitos Elementary School raised the most pennies in Pima County to shine the dome in the historic children’s legacy project, Arizona CENTennial Penny Drive. Arizona’s 100th Statehood Day is February 14, 2012.

On Tuesday, August 16th, the Shyann Kindness Project distributed gift packages – backpacks, books and school supplies – to 75 students at Los Ranchitos Elementary School. The event began with a discussion of how children can pass on kindness to others. Sandy and Glenn Rosati founded the Shyann Kindness Project in honor of their daughter Shyann, to share Shyann’s kindness by encouraging others to be kind (see www.shyannkindness.org).
