AZ Stronghold named official wine of AZ Centennial
September 26, 2011“It’s very cool. We are honored,” said Glomski, “I believe they chose us because we are pretty widely distributed in the state, along with 40 other states, three Canadian provinces and even Australia.”
In spite of the short notice, Glomski said they were able to divert recourses and come up three blends, one white, one red and one pink.
The wines will be featured at centennial events around the state, including the upcoming Best Fest in Prescott on Sept. 16-18.
“We made about a 1,000 cases altogether, some of which will be available at selected retail outlets also,” says Glomski.
Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, which has been around since 2007, uses grapes from property in Willcox that are processed at their winery in Camp Verde.
