Arizona Best Fest in Prescott, AZ
September 26, 2011© AZ Best Fest
The Arizona Best Fest Series moves to Tucson and later to Phoenix as it makes its three-city tour to Arizona’s three territorial capitals. The Best of Arizona showcase celebrates Arizona’s 100 Years. There you’ll find interactive historic pavilions, cultural villages, a western town, seven stages of entertainment, Arizona artists, food, wine and beer. Prescott was the first Arizona Territorial Capital, so naturally it is first in the Arizona Best Fest Series. How long will it take you to get to Prescott from Phoenix? About two hours from downtown Phoenix, not including event traffic. Leave extra time!
On Friday, September 16, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Courthouse the United States Postal Service will unveil the official Arizona Centennial commemorative stamp. Throughout the weekend, in addition to the Mainstage entertainment, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy pavilions, villages and special zones relating to Arizona history, people, science, art, energy, and military. Of course there will be fun and games, food and beverage.
