The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will perform in Phoenix next year in honor of Arizona’s 100th year of statehood. It will be the first time in 40 years that the celebrated choir has performed in Arizona. The choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square will give two performances at 8 p.m. Feb. 10-11 at U.S. Airways Center.

Tickets go on sale April 1 at the center box office (www.usairwayscenter.com/tickets/), Ticketmaster, Deseret Book Stores, on the choir’s website (www.mormontabernaclechoir.org), and on its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/mormontabernaclechoir).

The 360-voice Mormon Tabernacle Choir is one of the world’s oldest and largest choirs and has performed all over the world. The volunteer singers are all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At his 1981 inauguration, President Ronald Reagan dubbed the group, “America’s Choir.”
